My playgroup completes a community service project every two months. For May/June we are collecting items to send care packages for the troops overseas. Clarice Tinsley from Fox4 stopped in to share our story. My playgroup Tots-Of-Fun was featured on the 530pm news on Memorial Day. I'm a celebrity!

Moms and their tots from Denton and Collin Counties get together twice a week for playdates and service projects. The children range in age from birth to 4 years old. They go to the zoo, the park or anyplace that's fun and new. Tots Of Fun also creates service projects. By doing so, the moms teach their tots how to give back to the community. One of their many service projects benefits troops in Kuwait and Iraq. For Memoria Day the moms collected hundreds of items like suntan lotion, candy, toothbrushes, toothpaste, books, gatorade, pens, stationary, beef jerky and peanuts. While Memorial Day traditionally honors servicemembers who are no longer living...the moms wanted to also the departed by honoring those who currently serve. Tots Of Fun has shipping boxes ready and hope to send them out by June 9th.But Tots Of Fun could use some help.
